Dear Dairy (that’s Dairy, my dear friends. Like, milk product),
We need to talk. This love/hate relationship we’ve got going? Has got to change. You’re bad for me, Dairy. Just no good. But the thing is, I don’t know how to quit you!
Stop tempting me with your delicious cheeses, your creamy drinks and frozen delights. Stop mixing yourself with Ghirardelli chocolate and calling yourself Hot.
This relationship is making me sick. Literally. And I’m better than that.
Sincerely,
Disgruntled Daily Lover Molly

Dear Lactaid,
How about you start WORKING????
Sincerely,
Molly

I read the start to this post and initially thought it said, “Dear Diary,” and then I was really confused. But now it makes sense. Good luck with the Lactaid.

I got that it was Dairy and not Diary as soon as you mentioned cheeses. I’m having a bit of an issue with dairy myself at the moment. I’m sorry Lactaid is being so non-responsive. Sometimes, I wish there were more effective ways to get results from things that are supposed to make our lives a bit easier.

AGREED! Why on earth does lactaid seem to do absolutely no good? I honestly can’t tell when I remember to take it and when I don’t, but alas, I just can’t stop the dairy. It’s so. damn. good.

Like everyone else, I totally stumbled over the ‘Dear Dairy’ thing and was all “Dear diary… no, wait… dear…. dairy? as in milk and cows and stuff? is that a typo?” in my head.
Thankfully because I love all of its products so damn much, I have no problems with dairy. Or diaries either, for that matter.

OMG
YOU ARE IN THE SAME BOAT AS ME
can’t figure out whats happening to me. i know im lactose intolerant (i have been forever) and i think milk is the main culprit. i have tried - silk soymilk, 8th continent soymilk, skim plus lactose free, and regular skim milk. it all leads me to an AWFUL tummy that is not good for work, if you catch my drift.
WHAT TO DO?!

I’m the same way. It’s very very sad… I’m trying the pills before meals, I think they might be working, but sometimes you have to take several.

I’m with Clink. I <3 cheese too much to give it up. (Cheese? Can I have your extremely fattening babies?)

I feel you on this one, Molly. I wouldn’t say I’m lactose-intolerant, per se. BUT I’ve noticed a direct correlation between cheese intake and vomiting. Kill me now!

If it makes you feel any better? I was lactose intolerant when I was younger, and I just grew out of it. Here’s hoping for you!

I with ya! Dairy is trying to kill me, but the Lactaid works for me. Not you, huh? I actually use the BJ’s brand….it works better for me than the brand name stuff. I’ll give you some tomorrow.
We should start a dairy lovers but haters support group.
