Fall wedding, fall colors. Likes: reds, purples, deep oranges. Dislikes: bright yellows, too much filler, anything that resembles a weed.
#1 Maybe a bit big and far too many leaves, but I like the colors.
#2 I like the overall colors in this one and I think the size is about right.
#3 I mostly like the combination of reds and purples here.

#4 Maybe I should just forget the whole thing and go all (red) berries!

I have an appointment with the florist this afternoon to start discussing options. She asked that I bring pictures of everything — my dress, the bridesmaid dresses, centerpiece ideas, my colors and anything that has ever caught my eye. I think it’s a really good sign that she wants to see the cohesive picture in order to best help me pick my flowers.
I also hope she has a tray of martinis and a pile of grilled cheese sandwiches, but that might be expecting a little too much from my florist.

I really love the fourth and third options. They seem very classy and you appear to have a very classic taste.
But I am no expert.

The second one is beautiful
Good size, nice colors…and the green adds a little funk to it.
Have fun with the florist!!

I like #2 the best. I may have to steal your pics to show my florist, that I don’t have yet.
I LOVE the martini idea! I’m right there with ya! I am so not a flower kinda girl I’m gonna need the liquid decision maker.

I like #2 for you–with maybe #3’s colors and #4 would be nice for the BM’s. #1 has good “movement” which is something I looked for/had in my bouquets.
Have fun!

#2 is my fav but #3 is pretty as well. All berries might look a little too Christmasy…just my thoughts. xoxo

Ohh I really like #3. If you go too orangy it might not stand out from the natural oranges of the leaves at that time of the year.

I really like 2 & 3, 3 more so though. 4 is a good idea, but it might seem too Christmasy. Either way, they’re all really gorgeous, and that’s coming from someone who can’t choose her own flowers
Good luck choosing!

I like #2 and #4 the best. #2 has a nice shape and I love the berries in #4.
Also, I don’t think I’ve commented on your blog before, but I’ve been reading for months; yay for delurking! I just love weddings so I had to give my opinion on your flowers. Good Luck!

Purples! I am glad that you consider those to be a fall color. I think of fall colors as like red orange and brown and felt like I was totally flouting the season by having a completely purple wedding. But you have brought me back to the fold. Also I love the red and purple together and think that’s a great fall idea.
Have fun with the florist! I had a really great time discussing all this stuff with my florist. She was/is incredibly helpful.

I like number 2 the best. The first one seems too orange/red. I also like the white berries (flowers?) in the 4th one.
Good luck, I’m sure all of this is incredibly overwhelming.

Until I stumble upon a post about hysterectomies some day, this is the one that I am least-equipped to comment on.
Well, except for this comment.

If the florist had martinis and grilled cheese, she would be the best florist EVER.

Have I ever mentioned that all of this makes me want to get married again??
SO gorgeous. I really love the first one (but you’re right, it’s too big and has too many leaves!)

Mmmmm… grilled cheese!
I mean, flowers. Flowers flowers flowers. I really like that first one, minus the sticks. I love the darker colors and the fallish oranegy-redness of it all.

I think if you just go in with an open mind and a general concept, your florist will be able to do a beautiful job of pulling options and steering you in the right direction!! I can’t wait to see what you pick–the flowers really do have so much effect on the overall look

#4 isn’t bad either

I like the colors in #2 but I like the actual flowers in #3 better. So if you can combine those, wonderful! I have to admit that I do like #4 too. There is just something different and unexpected about it. But of course I would have to see it in the right color to make sure I really liked it. Not that I would be holding it but I will be looking at it.

I know, I kind of really do want to get married again too!
I love anything with hypericum berries, also anything with what the florists call
“seeded euch” (eucalyptus leaves)
Great choices all, can’t really decide!

I really like the look and colors of 2 and 3. They are beautiful but aren’t overly large and cumbersome.

I love number one – but that’s just because I like the style of flowers.
Red berries would be gorgeous and unusual, though.
Good luck deciding!
