Makeup like Katherine’s.

Hair like Jamie’s. (Minus the bangs.)

Interesting boutonnieres. I LOVE the dahlias!

Floating candles in the centerpieces.

Kodiak on the table numbers?

Cute umbrellas if it rains.

Alright so this one is just a dream. But look how amazingly gorgeous that is!

I’m considering Katherine too…
But, I’m guessing it is in an entirely different way.
Probably.

you must do the kodiak numbers. It’s personal and cute w/o being…too much.
Plus he’s adooooorable!
The rest of it? Do it. The stair candles are insane. That would make for stunning pictures

I must say, these gorgeous images are in STARK CONTRAST to the ones on my site today! Must post something pretty tomorrow.
LOVE the makeup, love the hair.
Umbrellas make for awesome photo ops, but I would go with COLOR because if it is a grey day, the color will pop.
Love the candles and YES on the beachy table numbers. And what fun you three would have together doing that project this summer!

I was walking by the Library the night they shot the cover of the Fete book . . . It was gorgeous. I actually went up and introduced myself to Jung Lee, who was a total sweetheart . . . such a shame she’s no longer accepting weddings of any budget . . .

it really is not fair how gorgeous that katherine mcphee is, good makeup choice! do you have a venue yet? i was trying to search your blog for wedding stuff but couldnt figure out how…

all i can think is that i’m going to end up drunkenly mistaking the floating candle for my glass and end up trying to drink it.
that being said, i love the kodiak idea!! i would totally volunteer to take those pictures. if you wanted, that is.

I too loved the dahlias and was so excited about them until my florist told me that they are extremely delicate and will pretty much shatter if anyone were to hug the groom. So I would think about using them in centerpieces etc… rather than on person.
LOVE the idea of Kodiak on the table cards!

Ooh i love your ideas. Katherines makeup is beautiful & i think would look great on you and at that time of year. I also think that colored umbrellas would be great too - maybe a more muted version of one of your wedding colors? And i love the table # idea - its perfect since he is your baby & would be so cute and full of expressions!

I think you could & should do the candles on the stairs - the entry into the foyer - it would be gorgeous!
And of course, I’m all for Kodiak.
Ps - wanting those green shoes too! I’ve almost purchased them 5 times!

My bouquets had dahlias and they were stunning! My dahlias were too large for boutonnières though

You know how I feel about dogs…BUT I think the table #s with Kodiak would be adorable. He is part of your family, and it would be a nice way to incorporate him into your wedding

Have you started making a bio yet? Because these are gorgeous. If I had had the boys before the wedding I DEFINITELY would have done the dog table numbers. You are going to be so beautiful (not that you aren’t already). We need to play soon… like Saturday? =)

Ooo! Those are wonderful ideas! I agree with Elle, Kodiak photos is a great way of including him.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of Kodiak on the table numbers. Also a fan of floating candles. And the last one, while it may just be a dream, is a pretty damn gorgeous dream, isn’t it?!?

Oh! I like the doggie table numbers idea. If I ever get married, I’m so going to do that. Maybe that will be my compromise since L isn’t such a big fan of having the dogs IN the wedding.

Loving all of those, but especially Kodiak on the table numbers - that’s just adorable! I really wanted some kind of “Rubin” moment in our wedding - wish I’d thought of that!

Not that I didn’t already know this, but you have FABULOUS taste. I love everything, especially the Kodiak table numbers! That is the CUTEST idea EVER.
As an overall it looks very romantic and sensual. LOVE it.

I am loving all your choices except the dahlias…not because they aren’t beautiful, its just they aren’t in season in October so they will be hard to find. They are really unique but kind of big for a boutonniere. Have you considered dark red calalilies or orchids? I love the Kodiak table numbers! Oh! And…my husband and I wanted sparklers when we left our reception but we couldn’t have them in the city limits so instead we had hundreds of tea lights lining the walkway with everyone standing behind them to cheer for us. It wasn’t exactly like your picture, but still really pretty and fun!

GAH… everything is just so… gorgeous! I love it all!!!
Your wedding is going to be the most beautiful thing ever, and I really think you should consider live vlogging the entire event!

I love them all. The tea lights on the stairs will make for an amazing entrance and pictures. My only concern, dahlias are usually really big, might be too big as boutonnières.

all of it looks fabulous! Especially the pictures of Kodiak! The last wedding i went to the couple was holding pictures around their city in places that represented them for the table numbers. It was cute.

love the hair!
and the umbrellas. love love love umbrellas.
you can even rent them for an event like this… there are some pretty awesome ones to rent and it’s so much cheaper than buying them for everyone. but that being said, when i used to have them made for my co. you can get cheap ones (even logod) for less than $5 if you buy enough : )

love the make-up, love the hair (even the bangs!), love the daliahs (using them as our flowers), love the doggie, and doing the candle centerpieces for half of the tables at our reception! love love love.

I dont think you should put kodiak on the numbers.

He is super cute, but this day is about you and your elegance.
not puppies.

Okay, so I might be in the minority here but I think Katherine’s make-up seems like it’s too dark for a wedding, especially the lipstick.
The rest, though? I LOVE! Esp. the hair. My cousin had almost the exact same hair for her wedding and it looked absolutely gorgeous.
And I know I am partial to dahlias and puppies but I love both those ideas as well!

That last pictures is amazing! Love it!
Katherine’s make up is perfection. The table number is idea is way cute. I’d do that with my doggies if we had more than one table.
(I’m having a small destination wedding) And umbrellas are definitely fun! We are doing parasols.

Good choices! I love dahlias. One of my clients has a huge dahlia garden and ever since I’ve seen it, I’ve been obsessed! I was actually thinking of using them in the bouquet if I found the right ones. I really like the hair and make up too. And the table numbers…awesome! Too bad cats won’t pose for pictures…sigh.

Yup, I LOVE the Kodiak idea, too. (I couldn’t get my dog to sit still for that long, that many times, but if Kodiak can handle it, then rock on.)
And I’m also a fan of the dahlias, though they’d have to be just the right size - if there’s a “petite” guy in the wedding party, a large dahlia might look goofy.
Oh, and yes to Jamie’s hairstyle, too (sans bangs).

love katherine’s makeup.
the hair is beautiful too.
the dahlias - amazing original idea, love it.
not crazy about those centerpieces, ther’es probably more but that pic is a little boring.
the kodiak table numbers are awesome.
wish you could have the candlelit steps/dream one.

My mom had her dog IN the wedding- she wore a collar made of flowers and walked behind my mom (as she always did) down the aisle. Is Kodiak going to be staying at home for this one?
Drool + Dresses….
I love the picture idea
