Suprisingly enough with 2 birthday parties and a county fair during these past few weeks, I have somehow managed to lose my 10 pounds. I dont know how I did it, but I am super happy abbout it, and more motivated than ever to lose 10 more, and eventually the 50-70 that I want to.
thanks Molly for doing this, I think that it was just what I needed to get me started.

Total, I lost 9 pounds! 4 pounds more than I had hoped to lose. I couldn’t be more happy! I’ve changed my eating habits by using Spark People and did about 14 days of the 30 day shred as well as started running again. I got engaged and after eating dinner out after dinner out to celebrate, I still managed to lose weight! Woohoo! Thanks for the motivation to get moving Molly! I feel way better about myself!

over the past week, I lost another pound over the past week (well, more like 1.3lbs actually, since I weigh myself on a metric scale and just did the exact math
) in total i lost 2.1 kg which equals 4.6 lbs – I’m thrilled! my goal were 5-8 lbs, but I’m hella happy with what I achieved so far, especially given the fact that I’m going through a stressfull time at work.
I will definitely stick to weighing myself on wednesdays and keeping track of my weight, and also of my exercise and healthier eating habits. hopefully the rest of the 8lbs will come of over the next 3-4 weeks!
Molly, thanks again for putting this challenge together, it was a great way for me to jump onto the weight loss train and stay on there!

I totally forget my goal… but I stayed consistent with exercise and did better on nutrition!
and considering where I was- it was progress just staying consistent with the exercise.

I actually lost the whole 5 pounds! I don’t know how it happened because I was most unmotivated last week and hardly did anything constructive.
The first three pounds were from sheer willpower, and the last two fell off. I am super motivated, however, to drop another 5 before October.
Thanks so much Molly. It’s been so fun to do this as a group!

I lost a total of 5 pounds! I have a month to lose the next 5 in order to reach my goal!

Lost six pounds! And I’m continuing on. Thanks for the motivation for such a strong start! I can’t believe how yummy steamed vegetables can be, but they’re quickly becoming one of my favorite meals. And hummus! And sushi!

I’ve lost 5 pounds (my goal was 8). But, I’ve been doing the 30 day shred, and I can really see a difference. Thanks Molly for doing this – I’m going to keep it up…I love the changes I’m seeing.

Lost no weight, but am in a MUCH better frame of mind compared to the beginning of the month. I’m scheduling workouts ahead of time (setting them as meetings in my Outlook calendar, so no excuses), and am excited about exercise again. My goal was 2000 workout minutes by the end of the month 6 more days!) and I’m up at 1650, and my goal is totally reachable with a long bike ride or two this weekend. Thanks for organizing this, Molly – it was exactly what I needed to get MOVING!
) Great work everyone!

I have no idea how many pounds I’ve lost, but I have been going to Curves regularly, and I have been better about Cookie Control! I am taking a brief hiatus from working out, as I am about to reunite with my boyfriend after his 2 month backpacking trip…hopefully it doesn’t affect my weigh-in at Curves which is happening in a few weeks
This was great though. Thanks for having it! Knowing I was reporting my stats really helped on those weeks when I just wanted to take a break and not go to the gym!

I agree with everyone that it was helpful to publish our weight and have something to show for it.
On Friday of last week I was down to 133.4 which met my goal of 5 pounds and being under 135. Over the weekend I gained two of those pounds back (thank you fair food and home cooked “mom” food) but I am back down to 133.4 this morning! And since I’m allowed back on my bike, I’ll maybe even be down more! I’m going to continue on, not because I want to lose more weight, but because I like the way I feel when I’m eating better and exercising consistently.

138.6 as of this morning. Have been a pitiful excuse of a participant as I did not work out as intended, though I spent a great deal of time speed walking in 2 different malls while shopping for a dress to wear to a last minute wedding.
And I have been eating better-ish. As in, actually eating cereal in the morning, and not drinking my weight in coca-cola. Wish I had lost a full five pounds, but more importantly I wish I was more toned. Luckily my husband jumped on the bandwagon and we now have a goal to each lose 5 lbs/tone up. May be easier to follow through with since he lives with me and can remind me daily. Thanks for doing this though, it has stuck out in my mind as a constant reminder and encouragement seeing others work towards their goal.

Um… it got way hot… even hotter in our house. I stopped shredding and now I’m the same lazy ass I was before! (Good thing my version of being a lazy ass is a city lazy ass who walks everywhere or I’d be showing the 1/2 a peach cobbler I ate for dessert tonight).
I hope everyone else did better!

Down another pound this week to 140! I had a pretty excellent training week too! Swam 6200 meters, biked 55.6 miles, ran 10 miles, and did 2 days of weight training in the past week. Even though I ended up with only a 2 pound weight loss, I’m ecstatic at how well I’ve been committed to training over the past few weeks, which was more important to me anyways!

Sorry for the delay – with my wedding a week from tomorrow I am completely distracted. No significant overall weight loss for me, but I have made positive changes (getting to the gym in the a.m. instead of after work, getting to the gym!, working on consuming more fluids, eating more protein, and trying not to emotionally eat despite sitting for my boards, passing my boards, and surviving the end of wedding planning. Overall, a good experience of having to be accountable. Inspires me to get active again with Peer Trainer.com (where I can log my food, workouts, goals and have support).
Thanks Molly!
