You’re allowed to RETURN underwear? I thought it was one of those ‘final sale’ things… or maybe I just thought it’s something you “don’t do”

I mean I’d just suck it up if I bought the wrong size. Isn’t underwear like $5 anyway?

i saw that and was incredibly grossed out. I will be washing ALL clothes before wearing them from here on out (generally i don’t because i’m too stoked to wear something new that I don’t want to wait to wear it, but that’s one wake up call i don’t want to get!)

UM, this happened to me. Well actually, my hubby. The package was opened and I insisted he buy it anyway, thinking someone just took them out to look at. When we got them home and went to wash them, there was PILING on the waistband.
Took those babies back ASAP.
Totally gross and I’d completely forgotten about it until now!!

I can’t bring myself to watch the segment because my germ OCD is bad enough. Is this used underwear as in it was tried on in a fitting room? Or is it…returned underwear?

I saw that too!!! SO GROSS. I can’t believe they put returns out WITH VISIBLE STAINS. ew ew ew. Wash your undies and bathing suits before wearing, ladies!!!!

I saw that too and was just thinking about it again so funny you posted about it. That’s really disgusting!

On a side note, I would really like it if the TODAY show would stop with this segment and any related stories. Somehow most of us have managed to live without knowing this (or to wipe down your rental care from earlier this week), so can we leave it at that? I still have a hard time touching my airplane tray table after a story I saw YEARS ago!
