For some fun on Friday, tell me how you customize your morning drink! There are so many variations and I always get surprised when I hear a new one while waiting in line.
Mine? A tall 4-pump extra hot chai latte.
Yours? (It doesn’t have to be Starbucks!)
Happy weekend!

Hahaha this IS fun
My typical drink would be a grande, decaf, nonfat, extra hot, no whip mocha. My order is long that I feel bossy telling them what I’d like!

I either do a Peppermint Soy Hot Chocolate no whip (tastes like thin mints) or a Hazelnut Soy Hot Chocolate (tastes like nutella!)

Wow, you all have a lot of instructions for your coffees. LOL I usually get a Grande Caramel Macchiatto, nonfat, with 1 Splenda. Feels simple to me. lol

Tall white hot chocolate, skinny, one pump of peppermint, with whip. It’s like Christmas in your mouth.

A regional coffee place in my state called Biggby has a drink called the Teddy Bear that is my favorite. It is a latte with white chocolate and caramel syrup. Delicious.

Well, my new usual, “grande drip with room” is boring, so I’ll give you my old, pre WW order: “Triple Venti nonfat tepid caramel latte” or my holiday “grande peppermint mocha with PLEASE only one pump of peppermint. Yes, full normal pumps of chocolate.” (They look at me like I’m nuts for only wanting a hint of peppermint in my mocha. The usual 4 pumps tastes like sucking on a bottle of peppermint oil!(

Oh if only I could start my day with a Starbucks. Alas, no. So to answer your question my morning drink is water. Or maybe warm water and lemon. Or maybe green tea. But usually water.
The more fun answer is Chai Tea Latte with soy, extra hot, no water, no foam. The no foam thing is really just to make sure they fill the cup – I don’t want to pay $5 for AIR! I’m intrigued by your extra pump. I may have to treat myself to that later today.
What a fun game!

I make coffee at home in my Grind and Brew – and I like to top it with whip cream from the can! So good!! Great for a weekend (or anytime!) treat.

Since I’m still nusing I avoid caffeine, so my current drink is a decaf grande mocha frappacino with whip and mocha drizzle. I look forward to eventually adding caffeine back in.

Grande Refresh Tea if I’m at starbucks. Occasionally a steamed soy milk with two pumps vanilla syrup. Yum.

A tall 2 pump vanilla americano with a splash of cream. (Starbucks only). Although I’ve been pregnant or breastfeeding back to back since 2008 (sweet mother), my daily caffiene fix has been a staple. Thankfully, neither of my sons have been bothered by it (that I can tell). If I’m at home it’s a cup of drip with cream…if I’m out and about it’s always an americano.

When I can get it, tall nonfat pumpkin spice. The rest of the year I usually get a tall skinny cinnamon dolce.

I don’t always get the same thing, but whatever it is, it’s always skim, with an extra shot of espresso (for flavor) and half the syrup.
If it’s regular coffee, it’s two creams, half a sugar. And I am really picky about that and will refuse to let the coffee person fix it for me if I go someplace like Dunkin Donuts, where they don’t like to let you fix your own.

Wowza! I’m gonna have to star this one for all these great ideas!!! I am BORING… I just put four packets of Splenda (yes, four!) in my homemade coffee… talk about boring, huh?!

Fun! Double tall americano no room.
I have to ask- why the extra hot? I know quite a few people who like it that way, but I don’t understand … doesn’t it burn your mouth?

I’m a DD girl…so I like a medium iced coconut with toasted almond iced coffee, milk no sugar. I usually order coconut and a sweet worker at DD last summer offered to put some toasted almond in it to make it taste like an almond joy. AND IT DOES!

Rarely go to Starbucks but when I do I usually order a skinny mocha. 95% of the time I make coffee at home w/ a touch of half and half and Agave natural sweetener.

Just had to go make a cup of decaf reading all this goodness. I prefer to make my own espresso drinks at home. My usual is a half caff americano made extra creamy (gotta use the wand just perfectly to utilize the crema from the espresso pull) and ONLY in my Valentine’s mug from my mom. Any other mug gets rejected. I think it’s about the size of a grande.
I also make my husband’s high maintenance half caff skinny latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla sugar.

I usually get a grande soy caramel macchiatto with 1 pump vanilla and easy caramel. Anything more than turns out way too sweet!
